The candidate for Morena’s presidential candidacy stated that the two states governed by the PAN are among those with the highest crime rate.
MEXICO CITY (apro).- Chihuahua and Guanajuato are examples of what should not be done in terms of security, because there is no close collaboration between federal, state and municipal authorities, said Adán Augusto López, an aspirant to coordinate defense committees of the 4th transformation.
At the national level, he assured, “the battle against insecurity is being won,” but at the local level he denounced that “the origin of everything highlights the collusion of municipal or state authorities with criminal gangs.”
“As much as we support the state of Guanajuato, if they are not applied in an effective public policy, if intelligence work is not done, if the police forces are not purged, then we will be able to advance very little,” he affirmed even when he is out of office from federal cabinet.
In a conference from Aguascalientes, he stated that Guanajuato and Chihuahua, governed by the PAN, are among the states with the highest number of criminal incidences. “Just in Guanajuato, the average is about 21 percent of intentional homicides in the country, Guanajuato is behind them comes Chihuahua with about 14 or 15 percent.”
At the national level, the Morena militant said, intentional homicide “although it still remains at a high rate, there is already a reduction of about 12 percent, compared to the indicators of other six-year terms.”
