For this fiscal year 2021, the staff of the General Directorate of Public Works and Human Settlements focused on the configuration of a program with a social scope, that is, that directly benefits citizens. With it, it seeks to cover the lags that could not be addressed during 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, as detailed by the head of the agency, Rogelio Magaña Posadas.
Likewise, he explained that a list of important projects was drawn up, of which the paving of various streets in both San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas stands out, as well as works to rehabilitate public spaces:
“Basically we are going to focus on making comprehensive paving, patching, sidewalls and sidewall work, public lighting and recreational spaces,” he specified.
On the other hand, he reported that the design of the work schedule is in the hands of Mayor Armida Castro Guzmán, who, together with her work team, will broadcast the corresponding program, already with a defined budget.
Finally, Rogelio Magaña thanked the public for the support and patience they show when the agency’s collaborators are working in an area, while emphasizing that the public has been disciplined and cautious with the handling of the coronavirus pandemic and invited to continue complying with prevention measures.
